Eigentlich habe ich ja überhaupt keine Zeit.
Ich nehme sie mir aber trotzdem. Zum Beispiel für Flickr.com:
Flickr ist so ne site, bei der man seine Bilder uppen kann. Also an sich nichts neues – ein Fotoalbum online. Das SCHÖNE daran ist aber, dass man die komplette Datenbank nach Stichworten durchsuchen kann. Es ist so wie die Google-Bildersuche, nur besser, da auch die gefundenen Bilder interessanter sind. Wem kein Stichwort einfällt und wer sich berauschen lassen möchte, der schaut hier.
Bei Flickr sind dann auch solche Schätze zu finden. In fact, even Mbuzimoja is pictured with my fav. gari.
Ich bin ein großer Fan von Kiswahili-Sprichwörtern oder auch wie es in meinem Gikuyu-Proverbs Büchlein heißt:
“He who speaks by proverbs, knows the language”.
Dementsprechend habe ich alle meine Domains auch mit Worten aus dem ostafrikanischen Sprachraum belegt, weil sie irgendwie viel schöner und eleganter klingen als eine schroffe vorname-nachname.de Domain [note to Zwiebelfisch: es heißt DIE Domain] UND für meinen Begriff von Coolness ganz weit vorne stehen:
Haia…some of my friends are having this “pic wars competition” going on in a private forum and while googleing for a suitable pic, i came accross this wonderful photoshop work.
Now…the question I keep on asking myself: isn’t this a rooster?

==> Wouldn’t it be nice to share those marked waypoints? I think Google thought so as well and programmed a function to share/e-mail what they call "placemarks" (ok, the prog was originally coded by a company called Keyhole but Google bought it anyways). So, in case you’re already using Google Earth, feel free to share those placemarks with me . Thx!
