again and again…

message

Seriously…what else can one comment on the current situation of the outcome of the elections in Kenya in 2007?

There’s so much anger, so many hopes lost just because some guys have once again (!) taken Kenyans and the World for a huge ride.

I hope the European Union will not even dare to confirm “fair” elections.

This isn’t about Kibs or Agwambo, but instead about some fishy elections that were provided by a very diciplined electorate who turned up as early as 4 a.m. to cast their votes, endured till the end – only to be told two days later on that the guys who wanted to remain in power had actually tweaked the results to fit their needs.

  1. “I hope the European Union will not even dare to confirm “fair” elections.” But isn’t anyone entitled to their own opinion hence the beauty of democracy.Every voice must be heard and not dismissed just because our masses and friends say one thing depending on whose quarter one is camping on? Every opinion , every conclusion , court of law , evidence and everything at our disposal in a democratic and peaceful way must be utilized. We are human beings and we see and hear what we want to hear. Any irregularities witnessed in Kenya elections should be analysed carefully and dealt within the rule of law period! For the most part Kenyans exercised their democratic rights and one can look at it and call it fair, unfair, call it dictator is back etc depending on who one was rooting for and how objective one wants to be.

Actually I think I should not be commneting on this because I’m not the one who woke up at 4:00am but each Kenyan of all parties. All I care about at this time though is peace prevails and we are not savages and use diplomatic means to solve whatever differences, otherwise creating situations that can leave us wondering , what became of Kenya that we all cared about and loved so much, is so worrying to me regardless of who we thought or think is fit to rule Kenya

  2. No one seems to notice that Kibaki has little or no choice to be president. There are powerful old guards running Kenya including Moi’s brother-a resently retired major from the armed forces who is familiar with the forces structure having given Moi confidence during his 24year term since the attempted coup of ’82 by infiltrating the forces. Kibaki is just a sitting Duck.

Those old guys who have raped the country for the last 40yrs have heavy vested interest that Kibaki remain where he is while they buy time.

The thought of facing a legal tribunal and going to jail is terrifying to Biwott, Uhuru, Moi, Moi’s sons, Simeon Nyachae, Njenga Karume….you figure out the rest.

crimes to the tune of trillion shillings for the last 40yrs. Crimes ranging from Illegal acquiring of government contracts, overbilling the government and delivering little or nothing to show for the funds received, to murder (assassination of Robert Ouko), from outright pocketing of foreign aid to personal accounts offshore.

Some of these “POWERFUL” behind the scenes CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY chief engineers are in their seventies and eighties and would not last 2minutes in jail once RAILA is PRESIDENT(CHOSEN BY THE PEOPLE). They don’t give a !@$ what you and i think. They’ll not be around in 10years.

A long time ago, Moi took an oath to protect and serve Jomo Kenyatta’s family at all cost and to ensure a climate is created to accomodate Uhuru as leader when he’s of age.

Some are probably unaware that it is Kibaki who was asked by Kenyatta what name he should give his son. Kibaki suggested the name “Uhuru”. Kibaki is a Godfather to Uhuru Kenyatta.

This is a close Kneat very powerful group of individuals who strongly believe that some Kenyans are MORE “KENYAN” than others PERIOD(Fullstop)…!!!!!!

Folks we are faced with a choice to make.
    1. Concede and later find a way to beat the “Monarchy”
    2. Cause chaos in our own backyard and get the treatment thats going on right now. Coz thos old guys live in HEAVILY GUARDED MANSIONS, eat well and don’t give a shit whether you can’t cross the streets to buy milk and bread for breakfast. They planned this long time ago and they can live in their MANSIONS for months stocked with food.

I just wish Raila had not given those guys ideas that they were going to jail, won their confidence, then jailed the motherfuckers once he took office.

  3. It won’t help posting insults on the web as more people continue dying in Kenya; over 30 Kikuyu’s burnt to death in Eldoret on a new years day! Therefore I will restrain myself.

I feel the anger of the Raila’s supporters, but if he is a true Pan-Africanist as he claims, shouldn’t he call for his people to restrain from violence?

A kikuyu in Eldoret has as much right to live there as the Kelenjin, and they also have a right to vote for a leader of their choice, why torment them simply coz they voted for their prefered candidate.

Lest everyone forgets, Mcolony was there, Moi was there too, and despite all the oppression the house of Mumbi prevailed. Thanks God for the restrain being observed by other tribes as the Lou and coastal people go amock!

  4. From a good friend in Nairobi: THIS IS SO SCARING CAUSE WE HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE AS THIS BEFORE. WE NEED GOD’S INTERVENTION. PEOPLE ARE DYING CAUSE THEY WANT A LEADER OF THEIR CHOICE. IT IS SO BAD CAUSE WE ALL HAVE BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE SLUMS. KENYA HAS ALWAYS BEEN KNOWN TO HAVE PEACE. RIGHT NOW EVEN UGANDA CANNOT ACCESS FUEL BECAUSE OF THE CHAOS.

PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYING ESPECIALLY TOMMORROW CAUSE PEOPLE WANT TO DEMONSTRATE. IT IS SO SAD. EVERYBODY IS TIRED. BUSINESS HAS STOPPED. ACTUALLY THE FIGHT IS AN ECONOMICAL PROBLEM NOT NECESSARIRY ETHICAL. AS YOU KNOW WHEN PEOPLE HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE THEY CAN BE DANGEROUS TOO!

  5. Both sides have tweaked the results. Initial rigging by ODM was followed by last-minute haphazard and clumsy rigging attempts in more massive style by local PNU warlords.

Once again, a crooked and corrupt political class (on both sides) has let the Kenyan people down.
