“Githingithia” on Wikimapia
I just marked my good friend’s duka “Githingithia” on Wikimapia.
Wikimapia is a nice GoogleMaps Mashup, but I doubt it’ll be good enough to suite our need for a web-based project database.

I have not commented for a while but I hope to be back in force now. Thanks for the post: I did not know about Wikimapia. Lots of people have spend some serious time annotating those maps.

Wikimapia is quite nice, you can include pictures and even videos (youtube-links) in your posts. And you can add it as a layer to GoogleEarth.
But then lot’s of entrys will double in Google Earth. And in Wikimapia, there’s a lot of private information posted. I imagine in five years time lot’s of people will have posted their private homes and their relatives’ homes – but you won’t be able to find any relevant information any more.
