Bambina & Dinkelchen

Eigentlich müsste man da mal nen richtig guten Artikel zu schreiben (hat sicherlich auch schon mal einer getan), aber jedenfalls:

Bambina – “a speciality made of milk caramel crème, with roasted chopped hazelnuts covered with gently melting full milk chocolate”

Dinkelchen – chocolate crackers made out spelt (Dinkel)

Süßigkeiten aus Ostdeutschland sind in meiner Wertschätzung ganz weit vorne.

These are some of the sweets that are produced in East Germany and survived the turmoil after the German reunification process in the early 1990s. They are still produced according to original recipes and – although not as popular, known and available all over the country as their western counterparts – very highly appreciated. I love them!
